The Skill of Solder Printed Circuit Board

With the accelerated development of industrialization, circuit boards will be used in many fields. When it comes to circuit boards, we have to mention soldered circuit boards. What are the skills of soldering circuit boards? Let’s learn how to solder PCB.

Skill of soldering circuit board 1:

The selective soldering process includes: flux spraying, circuit board preheating, immersion welding and drag welding. Flux coating process In selective soldering, the flux coating process plays an important role. At the welding heating and end of welding, the flux should have enough activity to avoid bridging and oxidation. The X / y manipulator carries the circuit board through the top of the flux nozzle, and the flux is sprayed to the PCB welding position.

Skill of soldering circuit board 2:

For the microwave peak selection after the reflow soldering process, accurate flux spraying is the most important, and the micro hole spray type will never contaminate the area outside the solder joint. The minimum spot pattern diameter of micro spot spray is more than 2mm, so the orientation accuracy of the spray deposited flux on the circuit board is less than 2mm ± 0.5mm to ensure that the flux is always covered on the part to be welded.

The most obvious difference between them is that the lower part of the circuit board is completely immersed in liquid solder in the wave peak welding, while in selective welding, only some specific areas contact with solder wave. Because the circuit board itself is a bad heat conduction medium, it will not heat and melt the solder joints in the adjacent components and circuit board areas during welding.

Before welding, flux must be applied in advance. Compared with wave soldering, flux is only applied to the parts to be welded at the lower part of the circuit board, rather than the whole PCB. In addition, selective welding is only suitable for the welding of plug-in components. Selective welding is a new method. It is necessary to know the selective welding process and equipment thoroughly.
